Carol Roth on Investors, Business Plans, and Execution

Written By: Catherine Morgan | Comments Off on Carol Roth on Investors, Business Plans, and Execution

There’s nothing like a good rant from Carol. In this interview, we discussed what NOT to do when pitching an investor. Carol shared a story about someone who blew it big time recently.

Carol reminded entrepreneurs who are pitching investors to have their plans together and their talking points nailed down. She stressed that entrepreneurs need to know their information inside and out.

We also talked about how good execution can sometimes lead to a bad idea becoming a successful business, and walked through a few dumb ideas that generated millions (and billions!) of dollars.

I laughed really hard during this interview a few times. I know you’ll enjoy it.
