If you want to up your game, it’s important to stretch yourself and do something a little scary. It’s important to raise the bar for yourself.

Today I gave two talks at an association event. One talk I had given many times and was very comfortable with, and one talk I created specifically for this event.

Now, this was paid speaking AND I was giving a brand-new talk. It was a stretch and definitely uncomfortable at points during the process. Like the last few days…

It’s important to challenge yourself and to keep growing as a professional. I hope this inspires you to go try something new.
