Uncommon Courtesy and Good Manners

Written By: Catherine Morgan | Comments Off on Uncommon Courtesy and Good Manners

Making the extra effort to thank someone, follow up on something, and actually care about another person is certainly not the norm. I call it uncommon courtesy because it seems to be so rare these days.

Carol Roth has exceptionally good manners, which is why I wanted to talk to her about this topic. I noticed this when we started working together, and I am still happily surprised by her consideration years later.

However, making an extra effort to be considerate and interested in the other person can potentially have a big payoff. Your network is a huge part of your worth, says Carol.
