Now that 2013 is officially upon us, most of us are reflecting on the past year and making our own resolutions about what we want for the new year. So, in that spirit, I have asked the wonderful CarolRoth.com contributor network of business owners, advisors and entrepreneurs to share their own personal business-related New Year’s Resolutions for 2013. Their answers are presented below in no particular order.
You may notice some similar ideas listed, but I kept them separate, as something in the way one is framed may resonate differently with you.

Do you have a business-related New Year’s Resolution that wasn’t included? If you do, please share it below. And as always, many thanks to everyone that contributed to this article!

I second the motion on #16's Rule #6 from the book "The Art of Possibility" -- "Don't take yourself so damn seriously." I had the incredible opportunity to hear author Benjamin Zander, conductor of the Boston Philharmonic, speak. He teased us with a baby grand piano on stage during his presentation, which he played for less than 5 minutes. The Art of Possibility is a good read to enter 2013. Cheers!
