As a business consultant and career transition coach for entrepreneurs transitioning to employee positions, I hear a lot of people wrestling with their own unmet expectations.

Often, entrepreneurs forget that they were the one who set the expectations and goals in the first place.

These goals may not have been based on facts or current market situations, which means that not achieving them isn’t that big a deal.

Instead, I recommend a saner (and kinder) evaluation process that might even lead to feeling good about your accomplishments.
